Frances has passed and my parents have been spared, in spite of being pelted with rain. Looks like Frances has her sites set on my grandparents now, as she be wobbling her happy, tropical-storm downgraded ass right through the heart of Alabama. My granparents live in Southwest Georgia.

- 11 P.M. EST Bulletin for Ivan, a Category 4 monster that is stronger than Charley and Frances, and taking the same path as Frances did.

That'll be the third hurricane in two months. If I didn't know better, I'd think that Gaia had beef with Florida.
